RMM's Commitment During Governor Evers "Safer At Home"

Update on March 24, 2020

Dear RMM Customers,

Today, Governor Evers issued Safer at Home Order #12, requiring individuals across the state of Wisconsin (with exceptions) to stay at home starting at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in order to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This Order will remain in effect until 8:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2020, unless rescinded or modified.  All businesses and operations in the State, except those deemed as "essential businesses and operations", are required to cease all activities at facilities within the State with the exception of "minimum basic operations".

RMM Solutions would like to assure you that we are working and available to provide you and your organizations technology services and support remotely and onsite if the need arises.  For the past week the majority of our staff has been working remotely and will be for the foreseeable short term in compliance with Governor Evers orders.

We are closely following the guidance of the CDC as well as state and local officials.  In addition, we have temporarily closed our four physical offices and suspended all travel for RMM employees that is not essential to ongoing operations and support of our clients.  Our entire operations, including our Helpdesk, Hosting, Implementation, NOC, and Physical Security teams will continue to provide uninterrupted services remotely and onsite as needed for critical support functions.  The remainder of our staff continues to work remotely from their homes.

For our hosting clients, we request that you do not ask to physically access our datacenters for the near-term and allow us to provide “remote hands” support to you.  There may be few exceptions and we will deal with them on a case by case basis.  Thank you for your understanding.

If you, or your organization need help with remote access, check out our secure access package utilizing 256 bit encryption that is very quick to deploy at a nominal price.  Please do not hesitate to call or email us for help at 877-730-7471 or email support@rmmsolutions.com

In closing, I want to share a verse and thought with you - Isaiah 26:3 which says “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”  We can have peace because we put our trust in God and He is ultimately in control of everything!!  We will defeat this virus as a nation and a world and we will come out better for it.  Be at peace and keep trusting in the Almighty God!!  Please feel free to reach out to us if we can assist in ANY way.  We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action.  We are all in this fight together.

Sincerely,

Update from March 13, 2020

Dear RMM Customers,

We recognize that this is first and foremost a human health event that has very real-world implications. In response to the World Health Organization's recent classification of COVID-19 as a pandemic, RMM Solutions would like to assure you that we are monitoring the situation closely and have prepared for continued operations and employee safety during this event.

We are closely following the guidance of the CDC as well as state and local officials.  In addition, we have temporarily suspended all travel for RMM employees that are not essential to ongoing operations and support of our clients.  Employees traveling for personal reasons must notify their supervisor and, as deemed appropriate, may be required to work remotely during the virus' expected incubation period.

RMM’s operations and support structure are designed to provide uninterrupted service to our clients through a highly distributed and matrixed workforce.  Our entire operations, including our Helpdesk and NOC, are designed to provide secure, uninterrupted services with all employees working onsite or remotely for an indefinite period of time.  In fact, we intentionally provide each of our colleagues with mobile devices and regularly test our incident response plans as part of our SOC2 Type2 Compliance.

As you prepare for this pandemic, we highly encourage you to consider the following best practices to protect your organization:

  1. Beware of increased phishing attacks using Coronavirus and COVID-19 as a news topic for compromise. Make sure your employees only click on official links from the CDC. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html. Don’t forget to Think Before You Click!
  2. Restrict sensitive data and information transfer over unsecured connections
  3. Secure remote access protocols from unsecured and unprotected personal computers and unsecured remote desktop sessions. If you need help securing your users or setting up VPN access, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support desk at 877-730-7471 or email support@rmmsolutions.com

In addition, RMM and our vendors are here to help empower your remote workers. Right now, we are aware of three specific offers:

  1. RMM remote users secure access package utilizing AES 256 encryption for remote workers.
  2. Three months free of WebEx conferencing.
  3. Three months free of RingCentral Office collaboration system for k-12, health providers, or non-profit organizations.

Please feel free to reach out to us for technical support or advice.  We are available and willing to help in any way we can.  We will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action.

We are all in this fight together.

Sincerely,

Rimon Moses
