An organization could rely on simple door locks and distribute keys to employees who need access. However, this method is difficult to manage, and risks increase as more keys are in circulation. A better approach is to use an access control system that releases a door lock when an employee presents the right credential, such as a badge, PIN or biometric.

[Heads-up] New Ransomware Strain Encrypts Cloud Email Real-time 

 A white hat hacker friend of KnowBe4's Chief Hacking Officer Kevin Mitnick has developed a working "ransomcloud" strain, which encrypts cloud email accounts like Office 365 in real-time. This new strain uses a smart social engineering tactic to trick the user to give the bad guys access to their cloud email account, with the ruse of a "new Microsoft anti-spam service".
